Essay: Were the HeLa Cells morally defensible?

You are writing an article for the debate magazine The Crossroads and their latest issue that focuses on ethics. Your target audience is European students aged 15-20 – teenagers who are also learning about morality and English.

Write an argumentative text where you take a clear stance on whether the use of HeLa cells was morally defensible or not. Consider both the benefits that HeLa cells brought to medical science and the ethical issues related to consent, exploitation, and the treatment of Henrietta Lacks and her family.
