Write your name and make it personal
Introduce yourself: Hi, my name is …
At the end of the lesson, please hand in your sign.
You will get it back at the start of each lesson so that I can learn your names.

A personal letter
Time: ~40 minutes

Please write a personal letter. Your text should be well structured and well written. Try to explain, as much as you can, your opinions and your experiences.
Word count: at least 200 but no more than 500 words
The letter should focus on the questions below:
Your name
What can you tell me about your family?
Hobbies (what do you like to do in your spare time?)
What do you want to do after you have graduated?
What expectations do you have on school and the English subject?
Do you think English is difficult or easy? What makes it easy/difficult?
Try to explain your experiences of the English subject in junior high school/secondary school (högstadiet). Was is positive? Negative?
Do you read in your spare time? If yes, what do you read? Books, comics, information online? If no, why not and what could make you more insterested in reading?
What grade (betyg) are you aiming for? How do you plan to achieve it?
