Introduction to the course

The course is visualised as blocks (called modules) where we focus on different skills:

Only the Course intro., The Midway Test and The Finals are set

Each module consists of 12 lessons (except the Midway exam and the Finals). After lessons 3, 6, 7 and 11-12, I assess your knowledge and skills.

You will receive feedback (how did it go and why?) and feedforward (what can I do better next time and how?) continuously.

Grades = when the course is over. Module grades = where am I heading?

The course is visualised as blocks (or modules, each with 12 lessons). Before the winter holidays, we will have focused on two skills - for example both speaking and writing comprehension - one per module, in order to practice all skills equally.

You are given influence over the order that we study the modules. We vote democractially to create our schedule.

A short interview

Your task is to interview another student (~2-5 min) using Flip and in the process help them introduce themselves. This will be recorded and only seen by Feke.

You will be provided with some questions and the aim of the interview is twofold:

Please note that this will not be graded but you will receive feedback.
