Your goal is to create an original piece of satire that uses humor, irony, exaggeration, or sarcasm to communicate a hidden message about something ridiculous or a real issue in society.

TTMER-method Checklist:

1. TARGET - What issue are you criticising?

   • If you want inspiration, have a look at the drop-down list below.

2. TECHNIQUE - Which satirical techniques will you use?

3. MESSAGE - What do you actually want people to understand?

4. EFFECTIVE -List several different ideas before choosing one. For example:

   • Fake Advertisement

   • Ridiculous News Report

   • Social Media Profile

   • Magazine Cover

   • Parody Music Lyrics

   • Political Comic Strip

5. REACTION - How should viewers react?

   • Laugh? Feel uncomfortable or shocked? Reflect or become critical?
